Welcome to ......The Painted Home!

Hello,

If you haven't been on Facebook lately....... I have been busy with the new shop in downtown Washington, on West Main St. It's called "The Painted Home".  I'm still designing and painting for clients and also creating new masterpieces at the shop as well. I'm having a lot of fun, but it is also a lot of work too. My husband can attest to that.

We carry vintage home décor and furniture with a mix of new and recycled items, plus jewelry and artwork.  It is also a studio, where you can take workshops and art classes as well. We have a lot of fun with those, and we are always adding new workshops for those who just can't get enough creative time at home.  We have scheduled events on our Facebook page that you can always check on.  Plus you can also call the shop if you want to book a party for yourself and your friends. They will always be on Friday nights of your choice.

Please check us out at www.facebook.com/thepaintedhomewashmo. Like us and share us and we will add you to our free giveaway drawing.  The shop's phone number is 636-432-1766. Please no soliciting.

Thank you,
Angela Pritchard

Furniture Galore!

My garage is my new storage unit! No room for a car since last fall. I have been working on a lot furniture lately and I think I have the retail bug again. Should I or shouldn't I? That's the question of the week. I'll keep you all informed.

Studio van Gogh Chalk Paint

Studio van Gogh Chalk Paint is on it's way to Eureka, Union and Washington!!!
Starting May 9th, I will be selling VG chalk paint at the "Vintage Farmhouse" in Union, MO., "The Great Midwest Antique Mall" in Eureka and from my Washington location, "Home".  I will also be holding classes, for adults this time, from my home studio. I can't wait for you all to try this paint! No sanding or priming! It's great and saves time! I will be posting more about all the new products once I get to play with them myself. Happy painting! :-)

Traveling to Charleston

My most recent adventure was to Charleston, NC this past August. We found some high priced antique stores, great food and many cool and creepy graveyards. The history of this place and the architecture are phenomenal!

We stayed on Edisto Island, which had a small quaint town. Biking around the Island was fun and so easy because of no hills. The shelling was outstanding too! We brought about 30lbs home with us. Seriously! We also had a very large crocodile living in the lagoon behind us and many large birds to take pictures of. They were beautiful.

Once I learn how to insert new pictures here, you will see. Sorry for my ignorance.

Best in Houzz 2012 & 2013

Well, I did it again! Thanks to all my customers that have faith in me and letting me into thier homes. After all the great responses and the chioces I have picked on the Houzz site, I not only won "Customer Satisfaction" in the Home Remodeling section in 2012, I did it again in 2013. A press release will soon be on it's way. You may read it on my site under the Press button.

Thank you again for voting me number one! I couldn't have done it without you. :-)
